Questions for storm

Hey everyone. We have an exciting announcement to make. We have a new member of
Something Silly Clowns. We are still working on finding the place for her to fill in our strange
little God-loving group, but we would like you to get to know her yourself.


Q: What is your name?
A: Storm
Costume Questions


Q: What is your costume?
A: My costume is a pair of overalls with cloud patches, a white t-shirt, a cream cardigan,
dark blue shoes, and a large gray hat.
Character Questions
Q: Where do you live?
A: I live in a cloud. That’s the reason for all the clouds on my outfit, that’s my house. It
shrinks and grows a bit so I just piece it back together. I usually have my house above
Dizzy’s windmill I’m able to get a nice breeze from the windmill but not to much so that my
house flies away.  
Q: Who is your character?
A: If I were explain my character in a few word they would be sad, down, and a realist.


Q: What do you do with Cupcake and Dizzy?
A: I don't know yet. I just met them and we have not hung out much
Q: What’s your favorite color (if you have one)?
A: Clear.


Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
A: My pet would be a mimic octopus because they are always disappearing.
Q: Who is your family? Do you spend lots of time with them?
A: Sunny, Cloudy with a Chance of meatballs, Partly sunny, and Partly cloudy the twins.
They are the forecasts. I see them rarely. They are not out when I am.
Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: I don’t know yet. I don’t know that I will change much.
Q: What do you like to play, do you have a favorite game?
A: I like to play hide. It is a game I made up where I hide and often my cloud disappears and
I’m found.
Q: What’s one thing that makes you who you are?
A: My clouds. They are my house and most of my stuff.
Q: What’s your favorite food (if you can pick)?
A: My favorite food is whip cream.


Becoming a Clown Questions
Q: How did you come up with your name and personality?
A: I chose Storm because A) it was the sort of name for a more downtrodden character and
B) it sounds good with the rest of the troop. Once my sister told me about maybe becoming
a clown I always wanted to be the opposite of most clowns just to kind of give a bit more
balance to more happy go lucky characters of Dizzy and Cupcake.  
Q: Do you have to practice?
A: Yes. The practices can take upwards of a couple hours.


Q: Where do your jokes come from?
A: My jokes come mostly from bad dad jokes that I hear.


Q: When will we get to see you in performances?
A: I don’t know an exact date but you’ll start seeing me around fall 2018. This may just be
my photos but soon after that I hope to be in performances
Q: Is it hard to learn to be a clown?
A: Depends on the teacher with Dizzy and Cupcake it's been pretty easy but we also had an
idea of what Storm was going to be. Your first brainstorming session is what is usually the
hardest but for me it was extremely easy. I don’t think that memorizing skit will be hard
because I’m used to from being in theater and acting programs.
Q: Do you feel like a clown?  
A:  Not yet. I think that once I get performing and helping with skits I will.
Q: Why did you want to be a clown?
A: I've grown up watching the clown troupe that Dizzy and Cupcake were originally from
and I've always loved to act. So it was obvious that I would want to combine acting and
helping kids understand Jesus and other Christian topics. I really can't think of anything
better.
Q: Is there else anything you wanted to say?
A: Not today.

You may think “Why should I bother to choose a theme for my performance”, and we have come up with 3 main reasons why. First, what is a theme or topic? A theme or topic for a performance is one idea or event that the whole performance is based around. Examples of this are the Christmas or Easter story and peace or love. The first reason to choose a theme is to make it easier for you. As the creator, it is easier to either find or create material for one topic rather than 3 or 4. Something Silly Clowns is one!

Something Silly Clowns has turned one and to celebrate we are going to recap the last year of ups and downs, good times and bad, comments that made us laugh and so much more. We are going to go over what we were thinking at the beginning of last year as it relates to now. We also want to make a list of things we may want to do in the coming year. We are going to break our updates into 5 categories; Ideas from last year, We did it!!, Best moments, Toughest problems, and Next year. Now come along with us to recap this amazing last (and first!) year. Let's start in November of last year. Both of us were so sad and confused about our clown troupe dying that we thought “Well maybe we could do something.” (That something is what we now know as Something Silly Clowns, but that's not how it's always been.) So... What's this all about?

You might ask us who we are. Well, we are going to tell you.   We are Dizzy and Cupcake. I’m Dizzy and I have made Dizzy a crazy ‘dizzy’ clown who loves to spin with her pinwheels. And I’m Cupcake and I have made Cupcake a ‘sweet’ clown who loves to play with her bunny frosting. We, Dizzy and Cupcake, are the two clowns that make up Something Silly. Something Silly Clowns is our small Christian clown troop where our main mission is to spread God’s love. We mainly minister to kids ages 2-7 and the elderly.
